What is a health coach?2023-04-30T01:01:26+00:00

Consider a health coach like a cross-combination of working with a life coach, nutrition counselor, and therapist all-in-one. A personal cheerleader, guide and accountability partner to help you implement healthy habits and lifestyle changes to improve your health. We work in collaboration with other healthcare providers- doctors, nurses, psychologists, nutritionist, dietician, physical therapists, personal trainer to integrate connections to your tailored wellness program. We connect the dots in everything food, diet, habits good/bad, fitness, sleep, lifestyle, mind-body connection, and even relationships, career, physical activity. Wellness coaches emphasize health beyond what’s on the plate. One of the core concepts is primary food- the areas of your life that impact your short and long-term health just as much as the food you eat, including relationships, career, and physical activity. When these areas are in balance, the food on your plate becomes secondary!

“Jennifer Entremont of Alternative Bodyworx is a consummate professional. Unlike many therapists who are in a temporary occupation, Jennifer is dedicated to her profession and has mastered her craft. I have been a constant client for the past three years yet each session is always fresh with new technique and goes to higher levels. Over the years, I have seen her not only pursue the most current techniques and education but also implement them in her practice. While I have always kept my body in top physically condition, Jennifer and Alternate Bodyworx have helped me attain new levels of physical wellness and live a pain-free life. I highly recommend her services.”

Alvaro Rodriguez

“Jennifer didn’t just go thru the motions. She paid close attention to how the muscles felt and knew where to spend more time. She then pieced together the areas that led to the knots and soreness. I’ve had massages all over the country and she clearly has a unique empathy that improves her ability to give a great massage.”
